About Chad
My career began actually working on my own health and weight challenges. All through High School I played just about every sport that had a uniform and was always active. But, from a young age I struggled with my weight till about age 27 I allowed my weight and health to get completely out of control and found myself tipping the scales at 215 pounds.
I truly believe my life took its first turn in the right direction when I discovered the power of aligning myself with experienced mentors — people who had achieved success in their lives and were willing to teach me how to properly create a realistic plan to get my health back on track. How to have a workout with a goal. Not just to “beast up” or “get jacked” but truly reconstruct my body from the inside out. I learned about exercise mechanics, program designs and that nutrition was just as, if not more than, important than all of it. So I took the necessary steps to prevent myself from ever going back to 215 lbs again.
Over the course of the next 4 years I set out on a journey to get myself back to where I once was. I remember someone asking me, “How much weight do you want to lose?” and I remember my reply was, “I just don’t want to be able to take my shirt off with confidence.” My journey did not happen without setback and struggles but through it all I dropped over 66 pounds, discovered myself again and learned that it is not something you do with a deadline but instead a way of life you must chose to commit to.
It is now my mission to help others do the same for their health. In 2010, I received my Certificate of Personal Trainer (CPT). My experiences have motivated me to become a mentor to those who are serious about achieving their goals and my education has equipped me with the tools and knowledge to do just that.
I am also very passionate about Community Service. I give back to not only local charities but, I work with locals schools helping their athletes be the best they can at not only life but the sports they are involved in.
